Modelur 0.2.8 is out!

A new maintainace release of Modelur, v0.2.8. is out. In addition to some bug fixes we have also released it as a universal .rbz installer, which can be used on both, MS Windows and Mac OS X platforms. For more info on new installation system please check official SketchUp API Blog.

we have just released Modelur 0.2.5, which works with SketchUp 8, too! Besides that, only small enhancments have been made as we are working mostly on upcomming v0.3.0.

Spanish translation

Just a few hours after 0.2.4 was released, we received a Spanish translation of Modelur user interface. We quickly updated installation packages and updated downloads on our website, so make sure to get them if you would like to use Modelur en español!

Modelur update - version 0.2.4 released

Hi all,

we are proud to present you a new version of Modelur, which has just been released. V 0.2.4 brings some new features and user interface enhancements, together with some bugfixes, reported by our users. Modelur is not only more stable, but it now speaks Dutch, too.

To make long things short, here is a selection of three most important enhancements:

Optimizing Modelur buildings for Google Earth export.
Invisible UI scroller.
Automatic fixing of rotated floor plans when buildings are created.

Dutch translation

Thanks to Gertjan Laurenssen we now have Dutch translation of Modelur user interface, which will be included in our next release. In the meanwhile we have prepared a zip file to add Dutch language to the current version of Modelur. You can download it from here.

Installation instructions (with default SketchUp installation):

on Mac, put it in
/Library/Application Support/Google SketchUp 7/SketchUp/Plugins/Modelur/i18n
on Windows (32bit), put it in
C:\Program Files\Google\Google SketchUp [n]\Plugins\Modelur\i18n\
on Windows (64bit), put it in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Google SketchUp [n]\Plugins\Modelur\i18n\

Once placed in correct location, just extract it and cofirm overwrites. Now, when you fire up SketchUp and initialize Modelur, Nederlands should be available too!

Modelur hotfix - 0.2.3 is out!

We have just released a hotfix for Modelur. Due to a bug it was impossible to set plot area size and some of the normatives, which prevented Modelur to calculate all urban control values. This is fixed in newly released version of Modelur.

Modelur version 0.2.2 is out! New version brings some serious performance optimizations (i.e. 10-50 times faster opening of large models) and fixes some minor issues. And, of course, Modelur now speaks Chinese, too.

The Modelur Team is glad to announce the release of an updated version of Modelur, the SketchUp tool for parametric urban design. Version 0.2.0 (Pre-beta 2) is available free of charge for both, Mac OS X and Windows, to anyone registered to Modelur Pre-beta Partner Program at www.modelur.com.

What's new?

The new version of Modelur brings several new features and enhancements. The most important improvements are:

Advanced manual editing of buildings.
Enhanced user interface.
Basic off-line mode.
Support for both metric and imperial units.
Export of urban control values to .csv file and saving of default parameters.
